Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is by far one of the best tropical destinations. If you go to Volcanoes National Park one year and visit five years later it will always be different. Volcano Kilauea is an active erupting volcano; these eruptions aren’t that serious though nothing like the movie Dante’s Peak. They are just small little eruptions where some gas gets let out of the earth and lava starts moving around. Often times when you go to this national park you will see red lava moving slowly over the landscape. The park says that over 100 million dollars worth of property has been destroyed by Kilauea’s eruptions. But what are you going to do you can’t really stop a volcano from erupting so life goes on and the damage continues. Make sure you take a look at the visitor’s center because it has a lot of information about the surrounding sites and it also has a lot of handy information about the museums and trails within the national park.
