My wife and I just moved into a house that has the most beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the house. I think it must be made from cherry wood. It has been very well taken care of I and want to do the same. I went to a flooring professional to learn how to clean hardwood flooring. He told me to keep it free of abrasives, especially sand and clean it with a vinegar and water solution and an ordinary mop once a week. He told me to test the solution on a small area before using it on the whole floor and not to over saturate the floor. I think we can do this with no problem at all.
