Lugol is known as after its developer Jean Guillaume Auguste Lugol. J.G.A Lugolcame from in Montauban south of France. He came into this world August 18, 1786 and died at an age of 95 on September 16, 1851.. French physician he studied medicine in the beautiful city of Paris in the year 1812 subsequently after 7 years he was appointed for being the acting physician to the Saint Louis Hospital.
