Getting Skinny Fast

tell me how realistic is it to get skinny fast. i cannot exercise as such until my leg heals and that will take about 9 months. So if i went on this program with limited exercise and eating your way what are my expectations or should i wait until my leg heals. Also, my calf muscle has come off the bone and i have a 13cm tear down it, so I have a pretty bad injury.  This makes getting skinny even more difficult since I cannot walk easily.  Are there any exercises that I can do with this leg injury?
