What does Medical Transcription Schools Offer?

Monday, August 17th, 2009

The field of medical transcription has expanded greatly over the past 50 years.  I can personally attest to this as I have been and still am a medical transcriptionist.  When I began my career, there were no medical transcriptionist schools and it took a very long period of time before I became proficient at what I did.  At the medical transcriptionist schools they offer you a curriculum that covers all areas of medicine which gives you the opportunity to work at a hospital, a physician’s office or at home.  You will receive first hand help with any questions and/or problems that occur and when you complete the course, be ready to enter a brand new world.

Seventy five and still kicking…

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

I just turned 75 two months ago. When I was at work the office decided to throw me a party. Some of the people at work go overboard when pulling jokes on co-workers. This time they went too far. During the party a number of people remarked about “getting rid of the ole man” When my wife and I got home from the party we decided to call a Philadelphia discrimination attorney to pursue a case against my employer. They were the ones who humiliated me and created the unfair environment at work.  It ended up that we did have a case and I settled for a early retirement allowance.

New Job Opportunities

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

There are not very many good job opportunities available in this terrible economy, but my son Ed found one and is just thrilled with his choice. He has become a surgical technologist and loves his job. His training program was only a year long, and he found a good job immediately. He works with patients before surgery, getting them prepped for surgery and taking histories.  He also works in the operating room, setting up the area, arranging instruments, and so on.  He monitors the patient during the operation, and also charts what the surgeon is doing.  The work is interesting and satisfying and he is really delighted with his choice.

Piano Lesson: More Learning with Less Time

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

I am tired of taking an hour of piano lesson and spending more hours of practice after the lesson proper. This does not motivate me anymore to continue my piano lesson. I am just so glad to tell in this Rocket Piano review that I am happy that I got the Rocket Piano to help me with a fast learning process. In a couple of minutes, I am certain to tell you in my Rocket Piano review that I already gained a lot of knowledge in an enjoyable manner. I learned more with less time and that is one of the best parts of Rocket Piano. I learned the right way on how to play my piano easily.

Learning Chemistry Was Made Easy By My Tutor

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

One subject that refused to get into my mind while in high school was chemistry. The complex equations of all sections of chemistry were hard to understand and harder to reproduce during examinations. But I was able to keep a full stop to this non ending problem by undergoing training from an expert chemistry tutor. He specialised in all sections of chemistry, organic, inorganic and physical. I used to daydream or doze off during chemistry classes in school but to my surprise I was literally listening to what my tutor taught. The reason was that he taught the concepts in a simplified manner and made them easy to understand. I don’t know what I’d have been doing now if he had not helped me out in learning chemistry. By god’s grace and his talent I’m now a student of pharmacology.

Who is executor of estate when there’s no will

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

My mom worked in the fashion industry in New York for 30 years. When she was younger she was one of Ford’s top models. As she aged she had a habit of trying to return to her youth. Some people age gracefully and other people don’t. My Mom hated getting older. Even on her death bed she refused to create a will and name an executor of estate. She died after a being in the hospital for 4 weeks. But because she never made a will and declared an Executor of estate her assets go into the legal limbo called intestate. What I need to know is who gets to be the executor of estate if there is no will? Any ideas?

Simple Spanish

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

I know some simple Spanish phrases and words, which is common being I live in America. I see more Spanish every day it seems so maybe its good I started learning more Spanish. If I lived in Europe say in Italy and knew Italian I would learn French or German because they are neighboring country’s like Mexico is with the US. It’s important to know other languages and not just English if you plan to travel to other countries. It’s never too late to learn a second language remember so stop making excuses. Spanish is an easy language to learn the basic in.

Background Checks: Part of Hiring

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

During my years working as a corporate recruiter, I learned a lot about hiring and keeping good employees.  The first rule of effective hiring was to know your future employee.  Naturally that meant following up on the job history they provided, but it also meant doing a thorough background check in the Michigan Public Records.  Naturally, some employees with problem histories did slip through occasionally, but our careful screening, along with the “gut feeling” I would get about people, added up to a pretty impressive record.  In the five years I recruited, we only fired twenty-five people out of five hundred.

LPN Degree Online

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

A lot of institutes have started offering online courses in LPN Degree. Well, one of the main reasons is that people have understood the importance of doing an online course in this course curriculum. Secondly, the fact that LPN Degree Online is increasingly being offered to be done over the Internet makes sure that people don’t have to line up to go to universities and classrooms to do these courses. Not only does this save people time, but it also saves them a whole lot of money. With two primary metrics being taken care of, you will find that people don’t have any reasons to avoid this course.

Looking for Reviews on a San Francisco Dog Trainer

Friday, July 10th, 2009

I have two small dogs. I had one but I thought that she would be lonely so we got another one. We are now questioning if that was a good idea or not but we have made a commitment and we are going to stick with it. I have been looking for reviews on a San Francisco Dog Trainer. I know that I will need some professional help with my dogs, but I want to make sure that I hire someone who really knows what they are doing. I am interested to hear what other are people saying about the trainers in my area.
