Not the Most Rebellious Teens

Friday, October 9th, 2009

My sister and I never got into any serious trouble like our future exmormon friends (our exmormon friends were out drinking, doing drugs, and other things). The most rebellious thing we did was try to scare the heck out of our neighbors who would go racing down our street all the time. One night we decided to take some clear packing tape, stretch it across the street between two lamp posts, and then we hid in the bushes to watch as our victims freaked out. About midnight was when the worst offenders were out and it was hilarious how they screeched on their brakes, wondering what they just drove through.

Are There Other Concerns Outside Of The Office?

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Can you imagine the tremendous responsibility of a chairman/CEO of a major company who extends himself in other areas in an advisory capacity?  This is just what we see in the leadership of Fuad El-Hibri at Emergent Biopharmaceuticals Inc.  He is involved in serving on the advisory board of the Yale Healthcare Conference and a member of the board of trustees at the American University.  His involvement with the International Biomedical Research Alliance as a board member is one of a joint venture with the National Health Institute, Cambridge University and Oxford University.  These positions serve to remind one that there are concerns to be reckoned with outside the walls of the office.

Our Families dreams overseas

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

The mormon church is more than just a Utah church as people seem to think of it. There are actually more members outside of the United States than there are within it. I think that’s pretty dang cool. I would love to experience mormon church services throughout the world and see what life is like for the other saints. I hope one day my husband and I will get to serve a mission together in a distant land. I don’t really care where as long as I get to be with him. My husband has the same dream too.

Getting TV Shows Off To A Good List

Monday, September 14th, 2009

I know that it seems silly, but I have been putting together lists ever since I was a kid.  I would sit down and write out all of my favorites and categorize them so that I knew what my favorites and least favorites were.  Now that I am older I am pleased to find all kinds of websites that have lists of TV shows that I can not only view, but add to.  It’s been great working with this new site on the stuff that they have.  The viewers and people who add their lists are just like me.  It’s so great.

I Can Go To School Afterall

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

I really want to be able to go to college. It has been a dream of mine to be the first person in my family to not only attend college, but be able to graduate college with honors.  I know I can do it, but I am going to need some help getting there. I want to look into student loans for people with bad credit. I know my parents will not be able to help me pay for anything, and they are actually the ones that have ruined my credit. I know there are ways we can make it work, though.

Probate estate settled and now I am buying a new car

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

I live in the southern part of Chicago and I have always scrapped by in life. I have lived on government assistance for most of my life and have never bought a new car in my life. I just turned 55. To my surprise, my uncle died last year and he had a small janitorial service the business was successful and provided a good living you my uncle Pete. When my uncle died, I found out I was named in his probate estate as a beneficiary. I just got my check from the probate attorney and now I am going to buy a new car for the first time in my life. Praise Jesus.

Find A Radiology Technician Program

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

If you were to do a search online for all the different types of careers you can go into and all the different types of schools you would find quite a bit of them. You can even find a program that you can do online for radiology technician, you would more then likely have to do all your clinicals at a hospital, obviously not in your own home. Everything else would probably be done at your home online though. It just all depends the school that you are going through and how they do things. Everyone does things differently. It just depends.

Our Port Charlotte injury attorney provided us with legal help

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

We are so grateful for all the help we received recently from our family and friends with an accident my Mother was in. However, we were desperately in need of wise legal counsel on how to proceed legally on her behalf. Our Port Charlotte injury attorney provided us with great counsel and legal help during the very difficult early days of my Mother’s accident. This gave us peace of mind and afforded us the benefit to focus on her care.  Our Port Charlotte injury attorney was very attentive to the best strategy on insuring my Mother received the services she needed when she needed them the most.
