How cameras see the world
Sunday, April 19th, 2009It goes without saying that a camera sees the world through it’s lens and will capture just what it sees (but with exceptions as you will see), those things by the way including that tree looking like it is sticking out of aunty Jame’s head by the way, but that is a different story and is all about composition. So, you not only have to be wary of what picture you are actually taking, you also have to be aware of how the camera is going to expose the film (or ccd in the case of digital cameras) and that is a totally different story and one that is even concerned with the colour of the thing you are wanting to photograph! There is a lot to learn and one of the best starting places is the Google Knol, and I’ve found a great one today, its all about photography and is something that I’d recommend viewing.
