A Guy Who Knows His Stuff, Fuad El-Hibri

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

I love working with people who do not just talk, but really can back up the things they talk about with the things that they know. So, I am trying to make sure that I do some research on who knows a lot about business matters, and making it to the top of a corporation to become a CEO. I think one man that I look up to a lot is Fuad El-Hibri. I know that there are ways to learn and grow just from listening to his story, and how he has been able to achieve all these things in his life.

Sending Mortgage Questions to the Right Sources

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

When business is taking place it is always important to send the questions that arise to the right sources for information.  It is not as though there are people being left out of the loop intentionally, it is just a matter of having the problems remedied in the shortest possible time so that nothing is wasted when it is not necessary.  For mortgage questions it is usually best to deal with a mortgage broker, for example, because they deal with these kinds of things all the time and usually, there is no reason to seek answers anywhere else.  These folks eat, sleep and live mortgages, so they can probably help you.

My Brother Has a Crush

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

When I was walking through the hall of my dorm the other day, I figured that I would stop in my brother’s room to ask if I could borrow his car.  I needed it to go to a show that was happening later in the evening.  When I walked in the room, I found him sitting in front of his computer, and reading the latest Kim Kardashian blog.  He apparently had a crush on her, and he didn’t want anybody to know about it.  I told him that it would be impossible for him to act on his infatuation with her.

Spyware Within Free Trial Downloads

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Have you ever downloaded a free spyware program and then changed your mind about using it?  Do you know that many programs put more spyware on your computer?  Yes, many programs use this tactic to try to get into your computer and cause problems because you didn’t actually buy their program.  Sometimes, even when you remove it, their tracks are still left behind.  You should try out xoftspyse.  This program does not install extra spyware or malware or any other potentially harmful products on your site, it just cleans your computer up and removes all the harmful objects.  But, you need to run it every day, as just doing every day work, you can possibly download something harmful without even knowing it.

Navigating a College Area with Assistance

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

When a person first goes to college, it is important for him or her to get to know the layout of the campus.  Many colleges have a map posted at places around the college area to help newcomers figure out where to go.  Depending on the person’s navigational and memory skills, it can take a few days to a few weeks at the campus to finally know where to go without having to refer to a map.  Fortunately there are usually people on campus, such as those who have been on campus for several years like juniors, seniors, and professors, who can help a newcomer navigate the campus.

From Phone Book Resources to Replacing a Broken Phone

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

I love using the Internet, because of all of the things you can do on it. I mean, you can do anything on it, from looking up a phone number, to replacing a phone. It’s really amazing how fast the Internet has grown since it started. Like the other day, I missed a phone call from a number I didn’t recognize. So I got onto the Internet, and used the phone book resources to look up the number. It ended up being my son, calling from one of his friend’s phones, because he accidentally sent his through the washing machine. So I used the Internet to wire him some money. See, you can do practically anything!

Movies

Saturday, May 9th, 2009

The other day, my girlfriend and I went to the grocery store, and we decided to stop by the Redbox to see if there were any new movies in.  We found that they had Madagascar Two, so we decided to rent that.  In the first five minutes, there was an ad that said, “you wouldn’t steal a car would you?  Illegal downloading is just as bad!”  It sort of caught me off guard.  I’ve been checking out the movies and music on Ares, just to see what they have, and I haven’t really read anything about whether or not it is legal yet.
