Easy Warm-Up Exercise

If you’re thinking about improving guitar technique, the first thing we should do is get back to the basics of things.  If you want to get faster at your scales, chord changes, and licks, you need to make sure to be warmed up properly.  You need to get blood circulating freely in your fingers so you can make nimble and forceful movements on the fretboard.  Before you grab your guitar, make both of your hands go limp with your palms facing down.  Next, shake your hands vigorously for about five seconds.  After that, open and close your fists a few times and you’ll probably notice that your hands feel much more relaxed and ready to play good music!  Peace!
